The Women Warrior Veterans of Wilson County work in conjunction with the La Vernia Historical Association to clean up the La Vernia Veterans Memorial every month. Once a month a group of WWV members will clean up the Memorial. This entails blowing dirt and leaves from around the area and polishing up the granite. It is our honor to honor those who served before us and with us! This memorial is located in the La Vernia community park and it recognizes our service members that have honorably served in all the armed forces. We stand united with our community and our veterans!
