The Women Warrior Veterans aims to reconnect the women veterans in our community with one another through our wide range of events. 

• Market Days, Veterans Qtr. Breakfast, Festivals & Home and Garden show, etc.). WWV sets up table displays at various events. Pamphlets/brochures, business cards, sponsor information and various other supporting paraphernalia is put on display to inform the public what we are all about as well as reach out to fellow veterans to let them know we are here.

• As La Vernia Chamber of Commerce members, we support the mission to promote the development of local businesses and enhance the economic attractiveness of the Greater La Vernia and surrounding areas. We attend monthly meetings that takes an active part in growing each business while making a positive impact on the quality of life and businesses in the Wilson County area.

• Guest Speakers: From time to time we invite quest speakers and participate in Wilson County News interviews. The reasons and topics will vary as the needs of our lady veteran’s changes. Speakers address subjects such a wartime experiences, veteran’s benefits and services, laws affecting our veterans, changes in current military service, etc…

• Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath laying ceremonies at more than 2,500 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. WWV supports the Fort Sam Houston cemetery. While coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies each December on National Wreaths Across America Day is a big part of what we do, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out throughout the year. Your donations will ensure a wreath is laid at a headstone.

• Investment / Financial Freedom. To understand how to invest and learn various terminologies of investing. Members would join with others to learn how to live financially in a way that gives them freedom. Members benefit from the knowledge of debt reduction, wise spending, and saving.
